Gryptid RV Park is a small park. Four sites, wide apart, in an open country setting between Dayton and Spring City. It is not a resort and it does not pretend to be one. What it is good at is being a quiet place to come back to after a long shift, for as long as your job lasts.
We work best with stays of ninety days or longer. Shorter stays are welcome when a site is open, but the park is set up around people who are here for a season rather than a weekend.
Park Once, Work the Whole Valley
This is the part most people do not realize until they look at a map.
Three power plants and two major construction projects sit inside about an hour of the park, along with the hospitals that run travel contracts. If your work moves between sites, you can leave the rig where it is and drive to the job instead of breaking camp and setting up somewhere new.

What Comes With the Site
Your Own Private Internet
High speed WiFi is included, and every site has its own separate network with its own login. Nobody else in the park is on yours. If you take calls or work out of the rig, this is the thing that matters most.
A Mailbox at the Road
Each site has its own mailbox. On a stay of a few months you need somewhere for mail and packages to land, and general delivery gets old fast.
Full Hookups
Fifty, thirty and twenty amp electric, water and sewer at every site. Trash pickup is included.
Metered Electric, Billed Honestly
Every site is metered on its own. You pay for what you use, and the base rate is not padded to cover the neighbor running two air conditioners.
Room Around You
Four sites on open ground, spaced well apart. No packed rows, no traffic through your site, and quiet hours from ten at night until seven in the morning.
Your Own Fire Pit
Every site has a custom steel fire pit cut with its own cryptid design. Sasquatch, Wendigo, Mothman and Thunderbird.

- A $125 electrical deposit is due at reservation. It is fully refundable.
- Quiet hours run from 10 PM to 7 AM.
- Two vehicles per site unless we work something out ahead of time.
- Pets are welcome with a pen or a leash.
- Monthly is what we are set up for. Weekly and daily are available as space allows.
An Honest Word About Whether This Fits
The park is still growing, and guests here have had a hand in shaping it. What we offer is a quiet, level site with full hookups and a straight answer on the phone. If you want a pool, a clubhouse and a full activity schedule, we do not have those.
If what you want is a level site, power that works, internet that is yours alone, and quiet enough to actually sleep before a night shift, that is what this place is built around.
There is no bathhouse and no laundry here yet. Every site has full hookups, so you are using your own. Both are next on the build list and we are working toward them, but we are not going to promise you a date we cannot keep.
Pleasant Road is narrow with some rolling hills, so we will walk you through the approach before you arrive with a big rig.
