Once we stretched out the pads at Gryptid RV Park, it was clear that the old electrical setup wasn’t going to cut it. The system had seen better days — corroded boxes, outdated wiring, and breakers that looked like they’d been sitting out in the weather for years.
So, we got to work. Every site had to be adjusted to match the new layout, which meant extending the electrical runs to reach the new pad positions. We cleaned out every box, tested every circuit, and checked every breaker to make sure it was safe and reliable. Some of the connections were barely hanging on, and a few breakers were so worn they had to be replaced completely.
The goal was simple: a clean, solid electrical system that guests can trust. We also plan to install electrical monitors for long-term stays, so power use can be tracked and managed easily.
Now, each site is coming online with strong, consistent power — no flickers, no weak hookups, and no guesswork. It’s one of those upgrades that takes time and attention to detail, but the payoff is worth every minute. Reliable power means happy guests and fewer surprises down the road.
